About me:

I was born in Birchwood Tennessee on October 22nd, 2007. I spent the first 5 months of my life with my breeder, mommy and siblings. My breeder didn't think I'd ever find a home because nobody came to look at me. Then something amazing happened!... a couple in California contacted my breeder and guess what... they asked about me! They thought I was so cute and would be a perfect addition to their family, so they started the process of getting me home. It took two weeks to find a flight that would go close to where they live but finally they found one and on March 24th, 2008 at exactly 11:00pm I made it off the plane and into my new families loving arms!

About my owner/parents:

My fiance and I have a 3 year old male chihuahua named Gizmo and when we moved into our new home we knew we wanted to get another chi, so we started looking around. We looked at all the shelters in our area but they all had males and most of which were labeled they didn't get along with other little dogs, so that was a no-go. Gizmo is the alpha dog so we knew we needed a female and we've always wanted a long-hair so we looked to breeders near our town but they didn't have any longcoats. After 3 months of getting nowhere we took to the internet, we found a breeder in Tennessee who had a gorgeous little longhair girl and the second we saw her picture we fell in love and knew we had to have her. We brought her home on March 24th, 2008 and we've been spoiling her every day, her and Gizmo have grown quite fond of each other.

I am a Red-Fawn and Sable, Long-hair, Standard Chihuahua.

Story behind my name:

My breeder had originally called me Emma but when I came to my forever home they changed my name to Abiageal, it means "Bringer of great joy and Father's joy" in Irish which fit perfectly because I'm a daddy's girl.

My favorite outfit:

My pretty pink and black polka dot dress and my yellow daisy sweater.

My favorite activity:

Hot-lapping at mommy's office or at home and playing with Gizmo.
